Turning your service delivery upside down...The best business renovation!

By Rowdy McLean.  February 2009.

Customers are a business's greatest asset. No customers, no business.

At no time in the past decade has this been more important than right now. Service is by far the best strategy for the current economic climate.

As people reign in their spending (which everyone is now doing) they become far more discerning about where and with whom they spend their money. Value for money is the key. The best value add you can give someone is to make them feel extraordinary through your service delivery.

The competition for customers is on, with very few new customers entering the market, the battle lines are drawn and the business that survives will be the one that fights tooth and nail to hang on to their existing customers and works like crazy to impress and hold on to the new ones.

The best business renovation you can do right now is to renovate your service delivery and become truly customer focused. No I don't mean doing a 30 minute staff meeting about service delivery, I mean really turning your service delivery upside down and inside out.

How you ask?  Here are 3 things you can do now to assist the process.

1. Measurement - Find our what your customers think of you and how you might improve. Conduct a customer satisfaction survey, have a Business Excellence Report done (click here for more details), ask your staff what they think, track and read all your complaints and compliments.

2. Diligence - Create a set of standards that are unquestionable, this is the ONLY way we do things around here.

3. Ingenuity - Instigate service delivery ideas that WOW your customer, simple things that your competitors don't do, things that delight your customers and get them talking about you.

If you want to understand the 18 keys to becoming customer centric, understanding service delivery, building relationships and adding value, then why not book a half day Service Excellence Masterclass.  Email emma@creatingsynergy.com to find out more!
